Best Dad Ever Makes Awesome DIY American Ninja Warrior Course For Daughter

Lylah, age 5, goes through an amazing American Ninjah
Warrier course built by her awesome father.

Some fans of "American Ninja Warrior" are people are building backyard Ninja courses, but one man really outdid all the others.

A guy named Gavin MacCall built a particularly awesome Ninja Warrior course for his five year old daughter Lylah.

The course is a perfect mockup of the Ninja Warrior course we're familiar with on television. .MacCall is definitely in the running for father of the year.

The family made a wonderful video of Lylah going through the course, complete with the hyper-excited color commentary of her making it through, and an audience of stuffed animals cheering her on, too.

Here's the delightful video to brighten your day.

It's July! Definitely time for summer fun.

For inspiration, the "People Are Awesome" Channel on YouTube has released a video of some people enjoying some summertime activities.

"People Are Awesome" Video Of 2014 Incredible Things You Can't Do

A still from the 2014 "People Are Awesome video

There's a series of videos on YouTube under the "People Are Awesome" banner which shows a variety of athletes doing incredible stuff that would kill most people.

Or at least deeply embarrass them if they made a mistake.

The "People Are Awesome" People have just released a year end video featuring what I guess are their favorite athletes and stunt people.

Feel inspired, or defeated because you can't do the stuff in the following video, but either way, it's a totally fun watch:

Burlington, Vermont Bike Race Was Intense, Photogenic

The Green Mountain Stage Race was held over the Labor Day weekend in Vermont.

It involves insanely fit people on bicycles riding as fast as possible up and down the steep hills of Vermont, amid bright sunshine and summer humidity high enough to melt a Florida alligator.

The race culminates in the Dealer.com Criterium, in which our intrepid racers zip around the narrow streets of Burlington, Vermont.

It looks scary if you're participating, but it sure is fun to watch. So I did. And took a few photos.

These guys sure do look intense. They're in it to win it. Scroll down to see all the photos.

Two Guys Have Teeter Totter Fun, Not Like Normal

When you were a kid, you probably loved to play on the teeter totter. I know I did.

A new twist with the old teeter totter.

Some people never grow out of that kind of fun. More power to 'em!

We now have a vide of two adult guys who are among those who still love those teeter totters. But they've just changed the rules of the game a bit.

It looks like more fun than the playground time I had as a kindergartener. But then again, most of us don't have the athletic prowess of the guys in the video.

So, let's just have fun live vicariously through the video, below:
