Harrowing Hudson River Is The Video You Need Now. Seriously

A superhero in Hoboken rescues Teddy. Film at 11. 

You probably need a feel good story right now. I do.

Don't worry about the beginning of this story, because, spoiler alert, you'll like the way it turns out.

Inside Edition reported on what they call is a harrowing rescue along the Hudson River in Hoboken, New Jersey recently.

A toddler named Thomas, who is almost 3 years old,  lost his best friend, "Teddy" who fell into the river while he and his mom were taking a stroll.

A heroic rescuer appeared on the scene, found Teddy floating in the river, retrieved him and performed some dramatic CPR.

The rescue was successful!  Teddy has fully recovered and has been reunited with Thomas.

Like many heroes, the rescuer disappeared into the crowd when things settled down. Thomas' dad, Ron Levi, is on the hunt for the hero.  The Levi family, at the very least, wants to take the hero out for ice cream.

Over in Britain, ITV anchor Alastair Stewart interviewed a mother about her childrens' milk allergies.

One of the toddlers took over the set. Stewart was incredibly calm in the storm. If he was able to do his job amid this chaos, he can do anything.

Scary! Toddler Falls Out Of Van Into Heavy Traffic

A viral video making the rounds shows a toddler falling out of the back of a van into heavy traffic on a Chinese highway.

Happy spoiler alert: The kid was rescued and wasn't hurt.

The van had stopped at a red light amid heavy traffic. The two year old boy was in the van, getting restless and moving around and found himself in the back of the van.

When traffic cleared, the van began moving, the hatchback unlatched the the boy tumbled out onto the pavement.

The back door of the van had been malfunctioning because the vehicle had been rearended a couple days earlier, SkyNews reported.

The van was driven by the boy's grandfather. He at first was unaware the kid had fallen out. When the kid stood up, he tried to chase after the van in the middle of the road but it was too late. Luckily, another motorist scooped up the kid and brought him to safety.

Meanwhile, another motorist tailed the van and honked his horn, trying to alert the grandfather. Finally he noticed.

The grandfather later told reporters, "After passing the intersection, a car chased me and kept sounding the horn. The driver told me a kid fell out of my van. I looked back, parked my van aside and went back and searched for my grandson," according to SkyNews.

Grandfather and grandson were reunited, and I'm sure the kid was strapped in a seat belt but good after that.

Gorilla And Toddler Have Fun Together

A toddler and a baby gorilla have a fun day with
each other recently at an Ohio zoo.  

This viral video has been on a lot of the news sites, but I can't resist putting it here, too.

It shows a baby gorilla playing hide and seek with a toddler.

The gorilla is on one side of a glass enclosure, the kid is on the other side.  This was at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio.

But they form a nice, quick bond, proving that all kids love playtimes. The video will make you smile.
