News In Review: Bad Lip Reading Of Trump's State Of The Union

Let's do another Bad Lip Reading to keep this month's absurdity going.
OK, I admit I just featured the "Bad Lip Reading" YouTube videos during the Super Bowl earlier this month, but I can't resist the same YouTube channel's take on Donald Trumps State of the Union address.

In this absurd lip reading world, we learn Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence don't get along (no surprise there).

We also learn how much animosity Bernie Sanders feels toward Trump. In the bad lip reading, Sanders tells a colleague, "I want to roast all of his fingers."

And that famous Pelosi clap back was actually approval when Trump told the Halls of Congress: "I like a pizza party very much."

Here's the rest of the craziness for your deep winter entertainment:

Of Course I Have To Bring You Bad Lip Reading For The Super Bowl

This year's NFL Bad Lip Reading is totally worth the watch and listen.
It's Super Bowl Sunday, and I suppose I have to celebrate the occasion somehow, though I'm not the most rabid NFL fan out there.

I'll do so by giving you "A Bad Lip Reading Of The NFL"

There's a whole YouTube channel in which they "put words in people's mouths" by dubbing in silly statements into videos of people who are often out of earshot.

The schtick is these are revealing videos of what was really said, except the lip reading is so awful that they what they people "say" is hilariously absurd.

They've done NFL lip reading for each of the past several years. This year's NFL one is excellent.  For instance, we have a sideline coach exclaiming, "In my bag! Poetry and French art!

In those NFL clips in which NFL players say something about themselves, one says. "I sleep on the happiness tree." Another says, "I melted a lot of people." One more says, "Humans shouldn't go into the labyrinth."

Yeah, everything they say is out of left field, if I may interject a baseball cliche into a football story.

Out on the field, "spoiled" New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady barks remarks like, "I'm an icon!" "Poke his eye!" "I'm the star!" and, "He's a spy!"

Another exchange:
Reporter to player: "I hope you feel good."
Player replies: "Not you, I hope you fall on a machete later."

Well, football is a violent sport, right?

I only gave you a small taste. Here's the full eight minutes of NFL bad lip reading that will convince you that people are strange:

More Bad Lip Reading For Super Bowl Weekend

:What to NFL players, coaches and refs really say to each
other during a game? Find out with Bad Lip Reading
I know, I know, I  just offered up a Bad Lip Reading video for the Trump inauguration a week or so ago, but I can't resist another one.

Bad Lip Reading is a YouTube channel where the makes take clips of something that was going on, without the sound.

They judge the way the lips of the people in the videos move to come up with lip reading of the action.

The lip reading, though, is hilariously off kilters, strange, absurd and just plain wacko.

NFL action is totally low hanging fruit for the makers of Bad Lip Reading videos, so in honor of the Super Bowl this weekend, we have a special NFL edition of Bad Lip Reading.

I just wish the people in the video really said what they're purported to be saying in the video.

Watch, because I know you need a good laugh:

What Were They Really Saying At The Inauguration

What were these people really saying at the inauguration?
There's a series of YouTube videos called "Bad Lip Reading," in which there's film of people at highly publicized public events.

The makers of these videos do absurb lip reading interpretations of what the people are saying, just for yucks and chuckles.

The "translations" are totally bonkers, but if you watch the people's mouths in the videos, it does kind of appear they are saying all these bizarre things.

One of the best ones yet is clips from last week's Trump inauguration. I'm sure the things said in this video weren't really said, but I kind of wish they were.

Republicans Make More Sense In "Bad Lip Reading" Version Of Debate Footage

The best twist on a Republican debate this summer is
by far from Bad Lip Reading.
There's a YouTube channel that takes public events, like political news and pop culture touchstones, and turns what everybody is saying into bad lip reading.

The words you hear on the Bad Lip Reading channel are incredibly absurd, but if you watch the lips of the speakers and listen to the nonsense Bad Lip Reading comes up with, it seems amazingly accurate.

A couple weeks ago, the Bad Lip Reading channel took a crack at the first Republican candidates debate held earlier this summer.

In the Bad Lip Reading version of the debate, Huckabee asks one of the Fox News moderators, "All your friends are bozos, but who's this Minion?"

The Fox guy says it's an old friend and a great gal, but Huckabee disagrees saying she "pooped on the treadmill."

Bad Lip Reading has Ted Cruz telling us, "We can just go out and collect a dead swan and then I will drink a sorority's goldfish."

Fox's Megyn Kelly asks Jeb Bush this all-important policy question: "How would you get a dead mouse in a crescent roll with some steak?"

Bush answers, "If a pit bull is loose in your house, you'll find me stiff on the bed because I'll always throw up."

Yes, it's certainly Theater of the Absurd, but frankly, the nonsense I'm highlighting from this video isn't much more bizarre than what some of the candidates are saying.

The second half of the video is precious, when each candidate gets to sing a closing song. Ben Carson's, at the end, is by far the best.

But you have to watch the entire video. I really hope Bad Lip Reading does a LOT more political videos between now and the 2016 election.   They already have a lot more hilarious videos you should watch, too.

Here's the Republican Debate:
