Scary Thing Is, Donald Trump Will Probably Get Even Lower Than This

Yes, Donald Trump could probably sink even lower.

The news is dominated today by that old clip of Donald Trump being a scary, creepy, ultra vulgar predator against women.

Plus, there's Trump's "apology" video that makes other videos of hostages being forced to say things look like the height of sincerity.

He would have done better just quoting the lyrics to that old Radiohead song "Creep":

"I'm a creep.
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here."

You sure don't, Donald!

I think some of the best Twitter reactions to Trump's awfulness have come from Huffington Post reporter Ariel Edwards-Levy, who echoed Trump's famous Muslim ban quote by tweeting, "I'm calling for a total and complete shutdown of Donald Trump interacting with women until we can figure out what's going on."

Edwards-Levy also reminisced about the olden days of last week when Trump's biggest problem was his taxes. And she rightly complained sarcastically that her childhood dream of being a reporter included being online at 1:07 a.m. on a Saturday writing about Donald Trump saying "pussy."

I'm sure Trump's core supporters will stick by him, no matter what. He can do no wrong, in their eyes.

Hillary Clinton probably didn't go far enough when she said some of Trump's supporters were part of a "basket of deplorables."

Not all Trump supporters are as deplorable as Trump himself. Most aren't, in fact. But a few have been learning well from Trump on how to be despicable.

An example: There's a Newsweek reporter who has been aggressively covering Trump. This reporter happens to have epilepsy. So Trump supporters have been sending the reporter videos that are designed to cause epileptic seizures.

Lovely.

I normally don't compare people to Nazis but these wacko supporters are as really as bad as Nazi brown shirts.

Trump will trundle on, having promised to bring up Bill Clinton's sexual escapades during the debate scheduled for tomorrow night. That ought to be a show.

I'm sure Hillary will just fall apart when Trump brings that up. At least Trump believes that, if nobody else.

I can't wait to hear what Hillary has to say during the debate about Trump's "fondness" for women.

Again, that ought to be a show.

By the way, Trump would note that his remarks about women that triggered this latest firestorm were made more than 10 years ago.

But Trump, commenting on sex-scandal prone Anthony Weiner said this three years ago: "Weiner is a sick puppy who will never change - 100% of perverts to back to their ways. Sadly, there is no cure."

This morning, the Donald tweeted, "Certainly has been an interesting 24 hours!"

I don't think interesting is quite the word for it.

Latest Outrage: Extreme Right Wing THRILLED Humanitarian U.S. ISIS Hostage Died

happy that American hostage Kayla Mueller died.  

For the past 24 hours, it seems all I heard on the news was what a great person Kayla Mueller was.

She was the 26-year-old American held hostage by ISIS, that horrible fundamentalist bunch of idiots who kill, behead, torture, and otherwise brutalize anyone they disagree with. Her death was confirmed yesterday. 

Mueller's death really does sound like a huge loss.

Everyone who came in contact with her talked about what a humanitarian she was, how she would help anybody in need, how she was a model for the rest of us to follow. How we need more people like Mueller.

Judging from the news, I'm totally inspired by Mueller. I hope everyone else is too.

But that's too much too hope, of course, because there are idiots in the world. Some people are not like Mueller. Far from it.

According to Talking Points Memo,  evil conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel is already dancing on Mueller's grave, thrilled that she is gone.

Here's the odious Schlussel's headline to her latest blog post:

"Kayla Mueller: Dead ISIS Hostage was Jew-Hating, Anti-Israel Bitch."

Why the cruelty? Apparently, Mueller's humanitarian work included helping some Palestinians. Mueller might have been sympathetic to Palestinians distrust and anger toward Israel.

In Schlussel's blotto world, that means she was basically a terrorist.

I don't know exactly what Mueller's viewpoint on Israel and Palestine was. Whatever Mueller's opinion, it's totally fine to either agree or disagree with it.

But if you disagree, you gleefully dance on her grave?   Debbie, darling, you are one sick, consumed by hate, scary ball of dark clouds, to say the least.

Oh, and I'm not done with our Debbie. Oh, no. She's got a world of hate up her sleeve.

Apparently Little Debbie is ecstatic that other American hostages died at the hands of ISIS:

"Ever single of of these hostages has been a leftist America-hater. They are anti-American 'journalists' there to tell us how 'moderate' and 'democratic' these beheaders and live-human burners are. Or are they anti-American 'aid workers' (that's like the Middle East version of Barack Obama's 'community organizer.)'"

Hmmm. Interesting. I follow the news pretty damn closely, and I have not heard of one instance of an American hostage, or anybody, left wing or right wing, tell us how "moderate" and "democratic" the terrorists from ISIS who behead and burn innocent people are.

All I ever hear is how ISIS must be stopped ASAP to stop them from committing more horrors.

But Little Debbie lives in her own parallel universe where everybody except her is bent on the destruction of Israel, and with it her sicko blog that is apparently the source of her income.

She tries to outdo everyone, so you really have to give Little Debbie an "A" for effort.

Back in 2011 she was kind of happy that a monster, Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people in Norway, including many children and teens, because he was unhappy that Norway's ruling party, in his mind, was too multicultural and endangering Norway's identity.

Little Debbie apparently LOVES it when kids or young adults are killed by a mad murderer.

The teens that died were at a camp run by the party that was ruling Norway at the time. Pretty innocent. Very much as if the Republican or Democratic parties in the United States sponsored summer camps for kids here.

But, the campers in Norway were too leftist for her taste, so it was probably good that the kids died, in Little Debbie's sick mind. To her, the Norwegian teens were Hamas terrorists

"What goes around comes around. You support terrorists against innocent civilians in Israel, then you get attacked by terrorists who are upset with your support.

"I shed no tears for thes Hamasnik campers with a Scandinavian dialet. Perpetrators are not victims. Hamas collaborators don't get my pity. They never will."

Totally Horrible Woman Defaces Nature, Thinks It's Art

Today on Gawker, I read about my new least favorite person in the world, Casey Nocket. 

I'd never heard of her until today, either. But she's apparently been traveling the nation, to some of our most beautiful national parks. She paints these horrible ugly pieces of "artwork" on rocks on scenic locations, which I guess in her mind is "improving" the look of nature.

Modern Hiker first brought news of the Wrath of Nocket to the public:

"According to her Instagram feed, Nocket has been traveling quite extensively - she has photos tagged from all over the West, including stops in Carrizo Plain National Monument, Sequoia, Bryce, Zion, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Grand Canyon, Canyonlands, Rocky Mountain and Joshua Tree National Parks."  

The only good thing about the obnoxious Casey Nocket is, she's in trouble big time. More from Modern Hiker:

"..... what Ms. Nocket is doing will not only get her some likes on Instagram, but will most likely result in a few felony vandalism charges once the Park Service catches up with her. And since, like most modern park vandals, she left a rich social media trail, it will likely only be a matter of time before that happens. Reddit already appears to be on the case."

Given the very negative attention to this, plus Nocket's apparent sudden awareness that she could be facing jail time, she took down her Instagram, Tumblr and other social media accounts.

Like that would do any good. All the right people have already seen your social media bragging, Casey, so you're screwed.

As I write this, the most recent post on the Reddit thread concerning this case is from a guy named Steve Yu, an investigator at Yosemite National Park.

He tells everyone thanks for the info, he's on the case. Yu does ask that Nocket be afforded due process, meaning we shouldn't harass her, which is fair enough.

Already, Nocket's Tumblr account is reactivated, but I agree with Modern Hiker that it has been taken over by an Internet troll who is baiting people, and Nocket is not in the picture.

Still, let's state the obvious: Nocket is a narcisstic, self-entitled, moronic horrible person who thinks what she does is soooooo much better than what nature has to offer.

I notice she did her "artwork" in acrylic paint, which is awfully hard to get rid of.

Let's get real, Casey. Even if your artwork was legal, it sucks. And why the hell do you think we'd rather see your "creepytings" drawings, as you call them, than the beauty of our national parks.

Yeah, right, Casey, you're the most glorious person on the planet.

I hope you spent lots and lots of years in prison, and then you're made to scrub and scrub and scrub all the rocks clean in the middle of 100 degree midsummer heat waves.

You're pathetic, Casey Nocket.

Woman Lets Dog Die In Hot Car So She Could Shop At Walmart For 13 Hours

Every year, we're "treated" to news of people leaving kids and pets in hot cars, where they die of heat stroke.

Many are tragic accidents. People get so preoccupied that they forget they left their kid behind. It seems impossible to believe, but all of us sometime don't pay attention, as they rush to be on time for work or school.

True, we should have a hightened sense of awareness when it comes to our children and pets, but still. The parents and pet owners didn't mean to kill their children or Fido.

Then you get idiots like Cassaundra Rasmussen, 49. Police said she left her dog in the car, in a hot parking lot, in late June, in Florida. Why? She had to go shopping at Walmart.

Worse, it wasn't just a quick trip into the store. She was in Walmart for 13 hours, according to police.

How can one possibly browse the, um, gleaming shelves of Walmart for over half a day? And worse, never remember during that time that her dog is in the car?

Is Walmart that compelling? That it's worth leaving your dog in the car to die?

A passerby did spot the dog in the car while Rasmussen was in Walmart. But by then it was too late. The dog had been in the vehicle for too long, in that terrible heat, with no food or water, for too long.

What gets me is she is only facing a misdemeanor charge of cruelty to animals. I guess that's the only thing under the law that might stick.

But still, the Internet can be a buzzsaw, and I'm sure Cassaundra is feeling the effects.

That's actually a good thing, except I worry people will take things too far. If Cassaundra is guilty, then a misdemeanor charge isn't enough for me. But I also hope the punishment via social media doesn't get so bad that she breaks before she understands what a horrible thing she did.

Shopping does seem to be  priority for some people.  A woman in Johnson City, Tennesee is accused of leaving her two kids alone in a car for 90 minutes while she shopped at Old Navy. 

Luckily, those kids were rescued.

I hope they are the only two people who think shopping is so exciting it's worth killing kids and pets over.

Has This Been National Spectacularly Horrible Person Week

The news this week seems to have been dominated by people who came out of obscurity to demonstrate what horrible people they are.

Are people trying to break some Guiness Book of World Record mark for extreme awfulness?

We had that idiot in Denver, who spent an hour carjacking people, including stealing one car with a four year old kid inside and racing around the Denver metro area at speeds of up to 100 mph. It's a wonder nobody got killed.

The Denver Post said the carjacker, Brian Cole Stone, has an 11-page criminal record.

So the guy is a first class loser.  And the people he affected were so random. You just never know.

The Denver Post had this bit of the drama:

"Stacy Rader, 39, was on her way to work and listening to a radio broadcast of the chase when the suspect T-boned her 2008 Camry at the intersection of East Lincoln Avenue and South Peoria Street.

'That pushed me further into the intersection into eastbound traffic, and I got hit by two other cars,' she said in a telephone interview.

I sometimes complain about police brutality as authorities sometimes get a little too violent when making arrests. But to be honest, when I saw the video of police arresting Stone, I thought they handled him a bit too gently.

I hate to say it, but I would have wanted to rough him up.

Even worse is the drunk driver in Texas this week.

Actually, he's much worse than Stone.  Rashad Charjuan Owen, 21, of Killeen, Texas, who, early Thursday morning, decided it would be a spendid idea to try to evade cops who were after him for drunk driving and plow into crowds at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.

Two people died and 23 were injured. He faces two charges of capital murder and numerous aggravated assault charges.

Yeah, he'll rot in jail for a long time. This seems to happen all the time. People cause such chaos and pain, thinking they can get away from police and not get punished for any crime they committed. And if getting away from the police means killing a few people, so what?

Just goes to prove that one of the most dangerous combinations in the world is bravado and extreme stupidity.

Finally, remember Curtis Reeves the guy who shot and killed another man in a Florida movie theater because he was texting?  Turns out Reeves himself was texting in that very movie theatre moments before he shot the other guy for texting.

So Reeves is a bigger asshole than we first thought. Not only did he object to people texting during the previews in a movie theater, he apparently believes he can text during that time, but nobody else can.

This week, then, we have three strong nominees for Worst Person In the World.

Let's hope they're the last nominees. I think we all need a vacation from horrible people for a good long time.

Rich Troll Twit Tom Perkins' Latest Idea: Let Rich Buy Up Votes In Elections

By poor, I don't mean monetarily. He's a billionaire.

But in his mind, he doesn't have enough rights. In his mind, if you're rich, you should be able to buy everything. Material things like mansions, Lear jets, baubles and jewelry isn't nearly enough, oh no sir!

If you're very rich, like Perkins is, you ought to be able to buy the adoration of all the serfs under his feet.

How dare anyone have the temerity to criticize the rich!  Or say even the most slightly mean thing about them! Even to envy them!  In his mind, respect is bought, not earned.

Yes, last month, he was the guy who said that criticism of the rich amounted to Kristallnacht, that awful night in Nazi Germany when they started rounding up the Jews for extermination. Yep, mild criticism of the rich is JUST as bad as the Holocaust.

Now our buddy Perkins is back with a brand new idea. Oh, some of these rich people are full of ideas! See, in his mind, elections are another commodity. You buy as many votes as you can muster.

No "one person, one vote" crap that has kept this country running all these years.

According to CNN Money, this is what Perkins said is his great idea:

"'The Tom Perkins system is: you don't get to vote unless you pay a dollar of taxes,' Perkins said, 'But what I really think is, it should be like a corporation. You pay a million dollars in taxes, you get a million votes. How's that?"

Oh, perfect, Tom! Instead of this byzantine system of corporations buying off politicians through campaign contributions to do their bidding, you just buy them off directly.

Pay a few million bucks to just do whatever you want and screw the wishes of everybody else, who you think were too stupid, too undeserving to become obnoxious billionaires like yourself.

Plus, this guarantees the people with the money stay rich, and one of your serfs who has the audacity to try to get rich through talent, hard work and great ideas has no way to do so, because you've thwarted  him or her by buying the government.

 CNN Money reported that his audience at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco kind of laughed at the idea, but Perkins said he's serious, though he allowed, "I intended to be outrageous and I was."

Tom, you were right. We are outraged. I know we shouldn't even pay attention to you. You're just a troll. A moneybags troll, but a troll, and we're not supposed to feed the trolls. It encourages you.

But I'm going to pay attention to you and your ilk anyway. We serfs have to do everything we can and expose your nonsense to you don't buy off the nation for yourself even more than you already do.

Yep, people like me hope to be your Kristallnacht. Except we're not going to smash your windows, arrest you, put you in concentration camps, persecute you or otherwise hurt you. You deserve to live out your life in opulent splendor. Go for it!

Instead, us serfs need to do something that to your mind is surely much, much worse and much, much more painful.

We want to ensure that everybody, even you, Your Highness Tom Perkins, obey the same rules, laws and societal conventions as all the rest of us, including the poor you hate so much, are expected to do.

World's Most Horrible Judge Going To Jail For Screwing Over Teens For Fun and Profit

It often seems to be that a lot of people get away with screwing over the little guy and getting rich in the process. Wall Street, anyone?

So it was particularly satisfying to read that a Pennsylvania judge, Mark Ciavarella, has been sentenced to 28 years in jail for sending teenagers to a youth prison on trumped up charged because he made money from keeping the youth prison full. 

According to the web site Rolling Out:

"Ciavarella would sentence offenders with small offenses to months and, at times, yeas behind bars. He once sentenced a teen to trhee months in jail for creating a MySpace page that mocked her school's assistant principal. Ciavarella also sentenced another teen for 90 days in jail for a simple schoolyard fight."

In the scam, Ciavarella and fellow judge Michael Conahan received $2.6 million form the owner of the youth prison, PA Child Care.

Conahan and owners of the youth prison had previously pleaded guilty to crimes related to the case.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has overturned the conviction of 4,000 people sentenced by Ciavarella.  According to the Juvenile Law Center, at least 2,500 kids were affected by the purely evil Ciavarella and Conahan in the so-called Kids For Cash scandal.

Ciavarella and his cohorts really ruined some kids' promising lives by sentencing them to prison and in some cases drove them to suicide. One, Edward Kenzakoski, was a promising athlete who was improperly sentenced by Ciavarella and fell into depression and eventually committed suicide.

The photo in this post shows Kenzakoski's mother confronting Ciavarella. The image is heartbreaking. At least to most people. I have a feeling though, that Ciavarella doesn't give a whit if anybody was upset with his crimes.

The judge would get an average of $250 per kid he sentenced. So, yeah, Ciavarella pretty much thought the life of each and every teenager out there was worth about $250.

I'll admit I'm fascinated by Ciavarella in a morbid sort of way. He, a judge, would know more than just about everyone how devastating a criminal conviction could be for a teenager. It would follow them for the rest of their lives, affecting their ability to go to school, get a job, be successful.

And we are all victims in this. The primary victim is of course the teenager falsely convicted by the ikes of Ciavarella. But his actions probably made it more likely his victims would need some sort of public assistance in the the future. That's our tax money folks.

All because or creepy, horrible judge Ciavarella wanted to get rich, and it it hurt somebody, so what?

I hope all the kids Ciavarella improperly sentenced are OK and doing well outside of prison. But a part of me hopes that a few of them re-offended, and are back in prison and will meet Ciaveralla, 63, there.

He deserves a particularly miserable prison life, and anything that makes it more horrible will be fine with me.
