Anderson Cooper Gives Best Rebuttal To Shithole President Who Called Nations Shitholes

Anderson Cooper last night had a dignified but
devastatingtakedown of Donald Trump's shithole remake
Since yesterday, everybody has been flabbergasted and apoplectic over Donald Trump's comments about not wanting immigrants from what he called "shithole" countries like Haiti and African nations.

You have to hand it to Trump: He always manages to outdo himself with his outrages and his racism and his scumminess.

The sad part is that some Trump supporters, both in and outide the White House, are pleased as punch with Trump's remarks, because they will resonate with Trump's base.

Yep, apparently, that's the most important part here, making sure Trump's small core of racist morons stay happy.

Like practically everybody else, I never thought Trump could actually hit a new low, but he did. Like practically everybody else, I could really get going on responding to this crap from Trump. Instead, I'll let Anderson Cooper do it. The CNN host had the most thoughtful, emotional and damning response to Trump I've heard so far.

Let's watch and listen:

A Guy Named Carl Paladino Is New York's Biggest Jerk

The Jerk Of The Week Award Goes To
Carl Paladino. Congratulations!
When given an opportunity to make a statement or a joke in public, don't be a gross jerk.

That nugget of advice might seem obvious to most of us, but not a guy named Carl Paladino who obviously didn't get the memo.

This all started when a western New York publication,  Buffalo ArtVoice, had one of those end-of-the-year easy features where they ask people in their community wishes for the new year.

Practically every news outlet does this,  and the answers are usually heartfelt wishes or a joke.

ArtVoice asked numerous prominent people around Bufflalo, "What would you most like to happen in 2017?" and "What would you like to see go away in 2017?"

None of the answers were particularly newsworthy except for  those by Carl Paladino, who is on the Buffalo School Board and was a New York co-chairman of Donald Trump's election campaign earlier this year. .

For 2017, Paladino wished that Barack Obama would contract mad cow disease and die after having sex with a Hereford.

Barrel of laughs right?

Paladino got even worse when he described what he'd like to see go away in 2017. He answered, "Michelle Obama. I'd like her to return to bein a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla."

Incredibly racist and crude right?

Not to old Carl here.

Paladino later confirmed to the Buffalo News that he made those statements. "Yeah, I'm not politically correct.....They asked what I want and I told them."

He later put out a statement that read in part, "Merry Christmas and tough luck if you don't like my answer."

To nobody's surprise, not many people do like his answer. Trump's transition team hated it, along with pretty much everybody in New York from the governor on down.

Even Paladino's own son, who now runs the real estate firm that Carl founded, posted a message on Facebook distancing him and his company from dad's stupidity.

The son, William, said in part, "We do not condone the statements made about the President of the United States and his wife. They were disrespectfu and absolutely unnecessary."

Fellow members of the Buffalo School Board, which serves a student population that has lots of racial minorities, are trying to find ways to kick Paladino off the board.

It's about time. Paladino has a long history of being a jerk, including in 2010 when he unsuccessfully (thank gawd) ran for governor of New York. At the start of and during that campaign, Paladino e-mailed racist and pornographic images that apparently somehow to his mind showed his intention to run for office.

Whatever.

Yeah, Paladino is an irrelevant jerk. Part of me was tempted to just ignore him.

But as I always say, it's good to shine a cleansing light on the most toxic of people and public figures like Paladino.

I still feel like I have to take a shower after writing about this idiot, though.

Now, The Anti-Santa; The Bible Wackjob At The Mall

So called Pastor David Grisham, straight from Mount
Crumpit, yells at kids at a Texas mall that Santa doesn't exist
Parent intervened and shut the idiot up.
Earlier, I wrote about a real life Santa Claus,  who lovingly guided a dying child on his way to the Promised Land in the ultimate display of class and compassion.

As noted in that post, there's always the opposite, the people who, rather than trying to warm hearts, try to turn them stone cold, to match their own.

I don't like to dwell on people like this, but it's always important to feature them. Exposing and mocking them is a good antiseptic, and these rubes need it.

So let me introduce you to one "Pastor" (and I use that term loosely)  David Grisham, who inexplicably decided it would be fun to travel down to Alaska and annoy and dismay children waiting in line to meet Santa at a Texas shopping mall.

As you'll see in the video at the bottom of this Grisham that filmed of his exploits, parents weren't exactly thrilled by this moron, either.

In the video, we hear this idiot bellowing to the confused and frightened children and their eye-rolling parents, "I want to tell you today there is no such thing as Santa Claus! Santa Clause does not exist! The Christmas season is about Jesus. Jesus was born 2,016 years ago. He was born in a small town  called Bethlehem. That is the truth about Christmas."

Well, I think the fine Texas families in line to see Santa already get it that Jesus was born in Bethlehem and that's why so many Christians celebrate Christmas. I'm willing to bet Santa's reindeer that most of the families there are good Christians anyway. This is Texas, after all.

Grisham then went on to yell unsolicited parenting advice, telling them they were wrong to lie to their children and tell them Santa doesn't exist.

You don't mess with Texas. Especially Texas dads who are trying to treat their kids to a nice Christmas excursion.

You see some dads demanding, rather intimidatingly, that Grisham scram.  You hear one of the delightfully menacing dads mention that he doesn't appreciate being told what to say to his kids, particularly when it's coming from an especially strange stranger.

I noticed some of the older kids in the background in the video looked pretty tough too, which is a nice touch.

The dads seem to restrain themselves enough to ward off the temptation to punch Grisham in the face. I'm not sure I'd be that self-controlled.

I'm sure Grisham skulked away eventually, back to the frigid hole he came from in Alaska.

It's just so much fun to see idiots like Grisham make a fool of himself, and pretend he doesn't the universal condemnation and mocking around him.

So, I present you with Grisham's video. Feel free to mock him any way you like, because 'tis the season.

This Week's Idiot Wants Everyone To Bring Loaded Guns To Quran-Destroying Ceremony

This moron wants people to bring loaded
guns to his stupid anti-Muslim rally
in Georgia next week.
Every week or so, the nation gets a new National Village Idiot who somehow manages to top the previous week's National Village Idiot.

Meet Jim Stachowiak.

His bright idea is to hold a rally in Atlanta next Monday during which he will shred a Quran and a picture of the Prophet Muhammad, which of course is among the most offensive things you can do against the Muslim religion.

Oh, and Stachowiak is encouraging everybody who comes to his hate rally to bring a loaded gun.

What could possibly go wrong?

Stachowiak who is - Surprise! - a Donald Trump supporter, says he has to do this because Muslims are an invading army taking over the nation. I missed that tidbit in the news, but what do I know.

This fun-filled rally will also feature desecrations of copies of photographs of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Who as we all know are secret Muslims plotting to destroy our country. Or something.

My theory is Stachowiak is a double agent for ISIS. What better way to recruit potential new terrorists by holding an event like this? Is Stachowiak a secret Muslim terrorist himself?

Doubt it. Just askin'. Looking for explanations for his stupidity, I guess.

Stachowiak's Idiot's Fair is going to be held in front of the Georgia State Capitol. Public safety officials in Georgia seem less than thrilled by Stachowiak's plans.

"The Georgia Department of Public Safety and the Georgia Building Authority anticipate a non-permitted, anti-Islamic protest on the sidewalks of the Georgia State Capitol....You are hereby notified that protest organizers have encourage their participants to carry loaded long guns," said Georgia Capitol Police Director Lewis G. Young, who clearly doesn't want anybody to show up at Stachowiak's little gathering.

Who can blame Young?

As lovely as Georgia is, it's probably best to stay as far away as possible from their State Capitol next week.

Of course everyone, including Stachowiak has every right to free speech in the United States. Even exceptionally stupid free speech.  So let him have his little rally.

But he clearly wants to cause trouble. Let's not play into this guy's hands.

The Georgia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is urging local Muslims to ignore the rally so as not to give Stachowiak and his minions free publicity regarding their message of hate.

Which makes sense. And I'm kinda giving him free publicity here. Georgia Muslims are right to avoid this guy, but it also behooves us to expose idiots like Stachowiak to public scrutiny and ridicule.

One of the best ways to knock back a bully and a jerk is through mocking and jeers, so have at it

Jerk Of The Week Slams 4th Graders' Bird Legislation Because Abortion

Fourth graders in New Hampshire wanted to
make the red tailed hawk the state raptor....
As part of a civics lesson, a group of fourth graders in New Hampshire asked the state's legislature to make the red-tailed hawk the state raptor.

Lawmakers shot down the idea, and complained that the legislation was a waste of time when they had more pressing matters with which to contend.

You can debate whether the lawmakers were right in saying the fourth graders were wasting their time, or whether they were shutting down a civics lesson, and turning the kids off from democracy

But, then, enter Republican Warren Groen who just had to make things worse by somehow tying the hawk to abortion:

"The (red-tailed hawk) mostly likes field mice and small rodents. It grasps them with its talons and then uses its razor sharp beak to rip its victims to shreds and then basically tear it apart, limb from limb. And I guess the shame about making this the state bird is it would make a much better mascot for Planned Parenthood."

Way go go Warren! Tying everything to abortion. You must be a real hit at cocktail parties.

Not surprisingly, parents whose kids were in the New Hampshire Statehouse listening to this jerk were not pleased.

According to the Huffington Post, Jodi Linnehan Kriner, the mother of one of the students, wrote a letter to lawmakers saying she was ashamed they are state representatives.

"If any rep can tell me how I should answer a question that was asked to me last nigth by my 10 year old son, Andrew, please let me know. He asked, 'Mom, what does Planned Parenthood have to do with red-tailed hawk tearing apart is prey, and why should it be the mascot,' she wrote.
Instead, the fourth grades got this
moron prattling on about abortion instead.

Well, Andrew, good question! One I surely don't have an answer to. Neither does Groen, apparently, but he did double down on his comment in a phone interview with the Huffington Post.

"The selective outrage about this I find quite curious....Every week in Manchester, the fourth grade class from 2025 is killed out.  Babies that would be 10 years old and in fourth grade 10 years from now are aborted in Manchester, and there's no outrage."

Even fellow Republicans are pretty fed up with Groen and his abortion stuff. He's kind of like a weird, sick version of Jan on the Brady Bunch always complaining about Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.

Lawmakers say they are going to ask Groen during the next legislative session this week to apologize. He probably won't, because maybe he thinks anyone who believes he was out of line is an abortionist?

Satan Is Everywhere! In Monster Energy Drinks! In Texas Muslim Press Conference!

Christine Weick, accurately called a "banshee"
by the Dallas Morning News, grabs a microphone
away from a guy and yells during Texas Muslim
Day in Austin this past week. Photo by
Jay Janner, Austin American-Statesman.
Back in November, I told you about a woman with a unique perspective who informed us that all evidence suggests that Monster energy drinks are an instrument of the devil.

She went on in great detail on this subject in a YouTube video that went viral.

We all had a nice chuckle over that a couple months ago.

Now she's back, that attention hog, disrupting a Texas press conference in the past week that dared to suggest not all Muslims are murderous terrorists who are  Satan personified.

According to Raw Story and numerous other outlets, Christine Weick was one of the noisy, obnoxious protestors at a Texas Muslim Capitol Day celebration in Austin this past Thursday.

She had the nerve to wrest the microphone away from a speaker and shout: "I proclaim the name of the Lord Jesus Christ over the capitol of Texas! I stand against Islam and the false prophet!

Way to go, Christine. I'm sure God is real proud of a random crazy lady disrupting a press conference in the middle of Texas.

By the way, Raw Story notes that Weick wasn't the only person unhinged in Texas last Thursday because Muslims dared to show up in public.

State Rep. Molly White, a Republican from the fine community of Belton, Texas, wasn't in her office, but left a message saying she'd left an Israel flag on her reception desk (for some reason) and that any Muslim who showed up in her office had to "renounce Islamic terrorist groups and publicly announce allegiance to America and our laws."

Never mind that most Muslims in the United States actually do renounce terrorism and consider themselves American.

The Dallas Morning News has the perfect quote from a Muslim who was at the rally Christine and her fellow jerks disrupted:

"'The problem that even the lawmakers have - they don't know Muslims,' said Mustafaa Carroll, executive director of CAIR Texas. 'And anytime anything happens anywhere in the world, they're asking Muslims to denounce something they had nothing to do with. If you want a denunciation, ask those people who did it."

Like if a Christian commits a murder somewhere, should we expect our friend Christine to immediately go on television to denounce it?

Naw.  She's been really too busy saving Our Nation from Muslims. Or sharia law. Or something.

Raw Story reports that Weick said Muslims wanted to impose sharia law on the United States but they would be stopped if we yelled at them.

Well, Christine is quite the yeller, as we learned in Austin, so there's that. She goes on:

"Once they get that established, we're all going to be wearing hijabs....Women, come on, do you want this oppression coming upon you? Keep your intolerance - or keep your tolerance going. Keep it going. Keep your complacency, or you will have it."

Riiiight.

The Dallas Morning News also had a blunt editorial about Christine and her little friends:

"The Muslim visitors' rights to peaceful assembly - one of five rights enshrined in the First Amendment - was violated by a small group of morons. Hair flying, one banshee seized the microphone and shrieked nonsense revealing irrational fears more than anything."

Sorry Christine, but I have to agree. Your First Amendment rights don't trump others' And you are a real banshee.

Look, I get it. There are horrible so-called Islamic terrorists out there and they mean to do real harm to us.  And maybe I shouldn't be picking on a lady who might have some mental health issues. (I don't know. I'm not a psychiatrist.)

What really gets my goat is activists and certain media outlets. (Are you reading, Fox News?) that play on this crazy notion that if there are some Muslim terrorists out there, then ALL Muslims are terrorists.

The media who promote this notion are really in it for the eyeballs on the Internet, the ad revenue, to make money.

Nothing wrong with making money. News organizations and other media have to make money and have to attract viewers and readers. No problem there at all.

Sometimes, though, they cross the line from being provocative to make money to doing real damage to society by creating hate on false grounds. By purposefully trying to alienate peaceful Muslims through their antics, they're taking away the potential for peaceful Muslims to help us do more to combat terrorism.

In some cases, when you insult somebody enough, they're going to do exactly what you don't want them to do.

I'm not asking for these "activist media" Islamophobe outlets to shut up. Free speech, after all. They can say what they want. They have the right to.

But if they don't think about the damage they are doing, and obscuring the real problems (and potential solutions) to terrorism, it's up to the rest of us to speak up.

Which I'm doing in my very small way now.

Are you listening, Christine?

Woman In McDonald's Takes Bad Mood To New Heights

Watch this woman get VERY angry and make a fool of herself

We've all been in bad moods. Things don't go right and we spout off.

In what must be the most overdone example of this, I give you the comically awful tableau of a woman in McDonald's who seems to be disputing a $6 order. And she WANTS HER 40 CENTS BACK!!!!!!!!!

This goes on for three minutes. And you thought YOU had a bad day.

If I worked at that McDonald's I would have thrown a McFlurry in her face, just to make her chill.

I dunno. It seems like people go to McDonald's with the express desire to be angry, judging from how many YouTube videos there are of such things.

Still, I think out of control angry people are funny. Hope you do, too, but watch it. The language is definitely NSFW.

"Funniestnphilly" Points Fake Gun At Passersby, Thinks It's Hilarious. Everyone Else Disagrees

Daron Stinson is known as "funniestnphilly" on his Instagram account.
I wonder if Daron Stinson, aka "funniestnphilly"
is laughing now that he is jailed and facing serious charges.

In reality, he's "stupidestinphilly." Possibly the stupidest in the whole world.

In the rapidly devolving world of prank videos on YouTube, in which morons scare the bejeesus out of people for fun and lucrative click counts, Stinson thought he had a fantastic idea.

Why not point a pellet gun, which really, really looked like a menacing handgun at passersby and film their reaction for his adoring audience on Instagram?

You can imagine where that went. First of all, the police were unamused, but at least they had an easy investigation since they could just find this bonehead on Instagram.

I'm sure the people who dove for couple because they thought a wacko was trying to kill them with a gun thought the whole thing was boffo hilarious.

Um, probably not.

My guess is Stinson isn't laughing now, either.

At last check, according to The Smoking Gun, Stinson was jailed in lieu of $125,000 bail, facing charges including aggravated assault, robbery, making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.

And being this week's Biggest Moron and Potential Darwin Award winner.

After all, I would NOT have been surprised if somebody, seeing Stinson with his stupid gun, return the favor with a real gun and blast away.

I wouldn't have wanted to see him killed, but if anybody deserved a taste of his own medicine it was the idiotic "Funniestinphilly."

Jesus Coming Back To Earth Armed With AR-15 Assault Rifle, Says Crazy Ex-General

Retired Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin certain has the most interesting theological idea I've heard recently.
Jesus is coming after you heathens with an AR-15 assault
rifle, says retired Lt. Gen. William Boykin.

It turns out the Second Coming of Christ is going to be kind of a shock and awe kind of thing, Boykin said.

According to Right Wing Watch, Boykin says Jesus will come armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, apparently to slay us heathens who mock statements like Boykin's.

Said Boykin, at a pro-family legislator's breakfast last fall, according to Right Wing Watch:

"The Lord is a warrior and in Revelation 19 it says when he comes back, he's coming back as what? A warrior. A mighty warrior leading a mighty army, riding a white horse with a blood-stained white robe....I believe that blood on that robe is the blood of his enemies 'cause he's coming back as a warrior carrying a sword.

And I believe now --I've checked this out -- I believe the sword he'll be carrying when he comes back is an AR-15."

Well, then.

This sounds like it's straight out of the pages or the Web site of The Onion or Daily Currant. I wish it was, since it does make me worry that a former U.S. military leader is this crazy.

Although Right Wing Watch does have a political agenda, they usually are pretty good at just finding these kinds of statements and quoting them verbatim.

I hope Boykin wasn't this bad before he retired. At least he's entertaining, I'll give him that.

Gawd this is delicious. Praise Jesus for giving us entertaining crazies like Boykin.
Add some blood to his robes
and this is pretty much how
you will see Jesus during the
Second Coming, Boykin says.

Boykin goes on to say that the Second Amendment, Americans' right to bear arms comes fromo the Constitution, thought up by the Founding Fathers.

OK, totally true and reasonable, for once. Go on, Mr. Boykin:

"But where did the whole concept come from? It came from Jesus when he said to his disciples 'now, if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.'

I know everybody says it was a metaphor. IT WAS NOT A METAPHOR! He was saying in building my kingdom, you're going to have to fight at times. You won't build my kingdom with a sword, but you're going to have to defend yourself. And that was the beginning of the Second Amendment, that's where the whole thing came from."

"And the sword today is an AR-15, so if you don't have one, go get one. You're supposed to have one. It's Biblical."

AR-15s were in the Bible? I don't recall ever seeing such references. Swords, yes, but assault rifles?

Maybe this is blasphemy, but I don't buy the idea that AR-15s are Biblical. They do seem like pretty handy assault rifles, if you're into that sort of thing, but I'm not sure spraying bullets from this thing around the neighborhood is a religious experience.

But then, to a few gun enthusiasts, any time you shoot a gun is a religious experience.

Boykin sure is going to hate me, because I'm not going to sell my cloak and use the proceeds to buy an AR-15.   It's supposed to be really cold next week, and my cloak, which is really a very nice light weight but toasty warm down parka, is very comfortable and I don't want to give it up.

So much for the warrior mentality.

Plus, would you really trust me with an AR-15?  Put it this way, when I water the flowers in the summer using a garden hose, I'm the one that gets wet, not the peonies. So imagine what I'd do with an AR-15.

Besides, I don't think a Warrior Jesus would waste his time with any stinking flowers, do you?

I know God is all powerful, and I guess by extension so is Jesus.  But you'd want the Second Coming of Christ to be somewhat welcoming, wouldn't you?  I don't know how well a wild-eyed guy in bloodstained flowing white robs wielding an AR-15 blasting his way down the street would be received.

Boykin also doesn't make clear exactly who Warrior Jesus is fighting. Maybe he'll clear that up in his next insane speech.

Rich Troll Twit Tom Perkins' Latest Idea: Let Rich Buy Up Votes In Elections

Poor Tom Perkins.
Tom Perkins thinks the rich should buy up all the votes

By poor, I don't mean monetarily. He's a billionaire.

But in his mind, he doesn't have enough rights. In his mind, if you're rich, you should be able to buy everything. Material things like mansions, Lear jets, baubles and jewelry isn't nearly enough, oh no sir!

If you're very rich, like Perkins is, you ought to be able to buy the adoration of all the serfs under his feet.

How dare anyone have the temerity to criticize the rich!  Or say even the most slightly mean thing about them! Even to envy them!  In his mind, respect is bought, not earned.

Yes, last month, he was the guy who said that criticism of the rich amounted to Kristallnacht, that awful night in Nazi Germany when they started rounding up the Jews for extermination. Yep, mild criticism of the rich is JUST as bad as the Holocaust.

Now our buddy Perkins is back with a brand new idea. Oh, some of these rich people are full of ideas! See, in his mind, elections are another commodity. You buy as many votes as you can muster.

No "one person, one vote" crap that has kept this country running all these years.

According to CNN Money, this is what Perkins said is his great idea:

"'The Tom Perkins system is: you don't get to vote unless you pay a dollar of taxes,' Perkins said, 'But what I really think is, it should be like a corporation. You pay a million dollars in taxes, you get a million votes. How's that?"

Oh, perfect, Tom! Instead of this byzantine system of corporations buying off politicians through campaign contributions to do their bidding, you just buy them off directly.

Pay a few million bucks to just do whatever you want and screw the wishes of everybody else, who you think were too stupid, too undeserving to become obnoxious billionaires like yourself.

Plus, this guarantees the people with the money stay rich, and one of your serfs who has the audacity to try to get rich through talent, hard work and great ideas has no way to do so, because you've thwarted  him or her by buying the government.

CNN Money reported that his audience at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco kind of laughed at the idea, but Perkins said he's serious, though he allowed, "I intended to be outrageous and I was."

Tom, you were right. We are outraged. I know we shouldn't even pay attention to you. You're just a troll. A moneybags troll, but a troll, and we're not supposed to feed the trolls. It encourages you.

But I'm going to pay attention to you and your ilk anyway. We serfs have to do everything we can and expose your nonsense to you don't buy off the nation for yourself even more than you already do.

Yep, people like me hope to be your Kristallnacht. Except we're not going to smash your windows, arrest you, put you in concentration camps, persecute you or otherwise hurt you. You deserve to live out your life in opulent splendor. Go for it!

Instead, us serfs need to do something that to your mind is surely much, much worse and much, much more painful.

We want to ensure that everybody, even you, Your Highness Tom Perkins, obey the same rules, laws and societal conventions as all the rest of us, including the poor you hate so much, are expected to do.

Oh the horror!

I Have No Sympathy To World's Worst Arsonist

Somebody burned down the Supps R Us convenience store in Melbourne, Australia on Boxing Day.
Watch what happens to this guy when he tries
to burn down the store

This wouldn't normally be news of interest for people here in the United States, since nobody got hurt.

Correction: Somebody got hurt: The arsonist. Police are currently looking for a badly burned arsonist. Somehow, I can't bring myself to be particularly sympathetic to the moron.

Watch and see if you agree:

I Didn't Think Diplomacy Involved Yelling "#&@(@!!!!!"

This guy might not have been the United States' best diplomat.

As you can see from the video in this post, the meeting on a narrow street in Malta did not go well.
Our Man in Malta fails at his peacekeeping skills.

His car met up with another, and one had to back up. Apparently, our Man in Malta didn't want to be the one to back down.

You can tell in this extremely NSFW video (because of language) when the U.S. diplomat says "I'm going to beat your fat fucking Maltese ass all over this goddam street!"

Well, then. Temper, temper. I can't imagine U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry talking like that to say, the British foreign minister.

Our Man in Malta is apparently not in Malta anymore. The U.S. government has recalled him and apologized for the undiplomatic diplomat. He has not been publicly identified. I'd still love to find him to detemine whether he things the argument was worth it.

It's a lesson to our former Man in Malta. The cameras are everywhere, and there's no sense in losing your temper.  Overreacting just a wee bit, were we?

Now that it appears you're losing your job with the U.S. diplomatic corp, you can maybe get a job on a cable news show. They behave like that all the time there. You'll fit right in.

Here's the video, if you dare:
